A bit of Inspiration to Start the Day

We tho12688188_741317926003544_6926855658873893916_nught it’s best to start the Sunday morning with a bit of inspiration for our blog and social media followers. A story about a football team, who won promotion to the prestigious and financially fruitful English Premier League (EPL) in 2014, and less than a year later found themselves fighting a relegation battle; through team work, determination and by sticking together they fought what most football enthusiasts thought was a losing battle and defied the odds to cement their place in the English Premier League. This year and with a squad assembled on an estimated budget to be worth around £26m, a manager who encourages his team to play an entertaining and dazzling style of football and a bunch of professionals who find themselves planted on the top of the EPL table.

A great example that shows how far hard work, persistence and determination can take you.

Transfer Window Travels – United Kingdom

Last week IFM director Andy returned from this trip from the United Kingdom with some great developments for the company moving forward. During a week long journey to London and Edinburgh, Andy had a chance to establish contacts with a couple of English and foreign clubs as well as stop off for a visit to Livingston FC, Hibernian FC and a couple of youth set-ups which were organised by our consultant and chief talent scout Darren Walker. The guys also managed to fit in a dinner and meeting in London with representatives from Diamond Sports Management.

Andy and Darren were invited to London on behalf of a couple of English Premier League clubs whom IFM partner with for contract talks and transfer negotiations; and used the opportunity to work together on a few long term projects, which led them to establish business channels in a few more regions – Qatar, Portugal, USA, Bulgaria, Russia and India. This opportunity will ensure IFM are in a great position coming into the Chinese, American and Scandinavian transfer windows as well as penciled in meetings with esteemed business partners in the lead up to the European summer transfer window.

IFM is always looking for business partners who share the same philosophy, goals and professionalism as our team. A great start to what is going to be a big 2016! #footballtravels

Getting the Ball Rolling

IFM player Kyle Stuart today arrived in the small Italian town of Novi Ligure, to commence his trial with Italian Serie D club U.S.D Novese. A 20 year old South African goal keeper, Kyle has played in South Africa, Northern Ireland and Untitledmost recently in The Netherlands; he is a fine example of the young talent pool that the Integrated Football Management scouting and recruitment team haveat their disposal. ”This young goalkeeper has a professional attitude, is goal-driven and a footballer with great potential” said IFM Director Andy Drewery. The 1,86m keeper will trial with the Serie D team for 2 weeks and, if he makes the squad, will sign a professional contract with the Italian football club. Best of luck, Kyle! #IFMplayer
